Happy What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday!
My crafting desk this week has stuff on it I can’t show, so I thought I’d show you one of my other spaces. This desk is in the next room and has my video and photography set up.
When I first started making videos, I set up and broke down before and after every single video. Bleah. Then we completed homeschooling and my son no longer needed this desk, so I appropriated it.
It’s great to be able to keep all my props and lighting set up all the time. The only problem is that I need to always leave sort of a mess of stuff in the photo booth to discourage kitties from taking naps in it.
Of course, that strategy doesn’t always work. 😀
He’s such a cute little helper, though, who could be mad at him? Time to get out the lint brush.

Of course a kitty would sit in such a lovely little spot, they know exactly what is perfect for a nap. The lights are probably the added bonus.

Nice to have a glimpse behind the scenes! I think I may have the same kit with the tent and the lamps. I don’t use it though – I get better results with just a couple of pieces of white foam board and natural light coming through the conservatory. I use one of the lights on my desk. My husband changed the bulb in it for LED, so it doesn’t get hot. That kittie is sooo cute! They all do that, don’t they? Settle in the most inconvenient places, LOL! I have noticed that your videos always look professional. And, frankly, I don’t see the cat hair even when you call attention to it! 😀
Although I got me a video camera for my b’day a couple of years ago, I still haven’t set up a proper place to use the camera well. I would love to make video’s of my work-process.. maybe this year??? Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #51

I love your photo set up! I wish I had room to do have a permanent one but my space is so small! My Jimbo would jump up on it that is for sure as he loves empty spaces and thinks they are there just for him. :<) Wishing you a happy day today!

It is interesting for me to see your setup, as I was thinking about doing something like that. It is much easier having a permanent place. Is your red headed star bookable? Very attractive with those yellow flowers 🙂 !

How can you get mad at that he is so comfortable and beautiful, he is no innocent ever though he thinks he is. I have an orange cat too apart from Yoda and I love him to bits this is what he would do.

My cats would appropriate the photo tent like the do every box, closet, cabinet etc around here! Cats are so funny sometimes. I take photos of my desk and usually one or the other has to be in the picture. Have a great week. Vickie#33
