Lots of perfectly lovely jewelry is made using chain, bead links with wire or beads on stringing wire. But there are so many other possibilities!

Silk ribbon and cording is popular in jewelry making today, as is leather cord, suede, cotton cord and even waxed linen twine.

Most of those alternate items can just be knotted in the back, but what if you want a bracelet or a necklace that doesn’t fit over the head, or needs a nicer finish?

That’s where today’s video comes in, in it you’ll learn how to use cord ends to finish leather jewelry. These findings are sometimes called fold over cord ends.

I share five tips and tricks for buying and using fold over cord ends for a professional finish in your leather or cord jewelry.

You’ll also find that flat nose pliers work better than chain nose pliers and are less apt to dent your metal findings .
