3 Easy Ways to Find the Perfect Beading Pattern

Sure, it’s fun to get bead boxes in the mail. But then what?

How do you find patterns that use the beads you have on hand AND you love the look of?

Sometimes I think our supplies remain unused because we simply don’t know what to do with them.

Yes, there are LOTS of designs out there to choose from, but how to find the perfect one for you?

Check out the video for three ways I find ideas and inspiration for any creative projects, not just beads and beading.

I’ll also show everything that comes in the Sunrise, Sunset Potomac Bead Box XL.

Many thanks to Potomac Beads for sending their wonderful bead boxes for me to get creative with and share with you.

Yes, they send them to me for free, but I will always give you my honest opinions.

Be sure to check out their YouTube channel, as they have loads of beading tutorials and designs.

  1. Thank you for posting this information! I love how you subbed the patterns/beads! I have a hard time breaking down kits and not using them with the included pattern. I just recently started doing that in the last year or so. Hey! It’s MY kit now and I can do whatever I want with it! It only took me a half a century or so to figure that out. LOL

I’ve known about searching for the patterns by beads in some YouTube channels, but didn’t think about searching by beads across all of YT! What a DUH! moment and I still have the palm print on my forehead to prove it.

I love your channel and I love your website. Thank you so much for everything you share. You’ve been a tremendous help to me. I’ve only been beading almost a year and there’s sooooo much to learn. You’re the best!

    1. Hi Theresa,

Thank you for taking the time to let me know how my videos have been helpful to you. It’s very encouraging!

Sometimes it can be hard to think outside the usual and expected. Certainly there are times it’s easier and I make a pattern as written, for a brain break, really.

But it’s so much more satisfying to make it your own. It just takes some time and thought. The more you do, the more you’ll get there, I’m certain.

      Thanks again for writing.

      Happy creating!

      Sandy
