![The LAZY Way To Antique Your Art](https://keepsakecrafts.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/10-SECOND-795x385.jpg)
I love watching other artists create, because even if I’m already familiar with their techniques, there’s always something new to learn.
This tidbit from a Craftsy class takes the tedious process of antiquing and makes it super quick and easy.
![10 Second Antiquing, shows a stop watch, a lightning bolt and a purple textured heart shape, which has been antiqued with brown paint](https://keepsakecrafts.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/10-SECOND-1024x576.jpg)
I hope after watching this you’ll be as excited to antique your next project as I am!
Tools and Materials:
- Nonstick craft mat
- High flow acrylic paints, I used:
- Sepia
- Titanium White
- Turquoise
- Raw Umber will give you that darker brown
- Paintbrush
- Spritz bottle with water
If you have a Craftsy membership, I highly recommend Carol Nelson’s class, New Approaches to Mixed Media Materials. Besides quick antiquing, she does cool things like melt Tyvek, rust paint and burn origami papers, all to amazing effect.
Enjoy the video, happy creating!
