Not too long ago I MELTED one of my favorite polymer clay molds.
====sadness====
I had made lots of polymer clay pieces from this mold while creating my trinket bowl assemblage class.
And that got me to thinking…..
Could I use those clay faces to recreate my damaged mold?
The answer was YES.
Yes, with a bit of care you can recreate any polymer clay mold, even ones that aren’t supposed to go in the oven, then use them to bake your polymer clay.
In today’s video I show two ways (plus a bonus tip!) for getting more use out of your polymer clay molds.
- Sculpey molds
- CreateAlong molds
- Silicone molding putty
- Clay blade
- Liquid clay
- Make DIY Texture Sheets, Impressions and Mold of Anything with Silicone Molding Putty video
- Trinket Bowl Assemblage class
Enjoy the video and happy creating!
