There are so many amazing findings out there for finishing bead work jewelry, but your pieces have to be the exact right size to fit them.
What to do if you don’t have or can’t find a finding in the correct dimensions for your bead weaving?
In today’s video I show how to make a custom closure for beaded pieces using a button and just a bit of leather or ultra suede.
Another benefit to this method is that if your bead work is a bit short for your needs, the leather can fill in and add length.
Plus, it’s a nice way to use pretty buttons, add color and a textural accent.
