Knowing how to finish your projects with crimp beads is a basic jewelry making skill that most of us learn early on. However, I was stringing beads for quite some time before I learned about crimp covers. Once I found them, I never looked back. 🙂
Personally, I think they make a big difference in the final look of your work. It’s just more finished, more professional when those flattened crimps are neatly hidden away.
In today’s video I show the simple method I’ve found for handling crimp covers and I’ll show you a couple other unexpected ways to use them.
If you need to stock up here are a few to choose from:
- 4mm Crimp Beads Sterling Silver Plated
- Gold Tone Crimp Bead Covers 4mm
- Gunmetal Fluted Crimp Bead Covers 4mm
- Crimping Pliers
