Recently I made a long overdue purchase of some Piñata brand alcohol inks and Lumiere paints, and so far I’m absolutely in love.
Playing and experimenting with new supplies is so much fun!
In today’s video I’ll tell you a bit about the Piñata alcohol inks and the Jacquard line of Lumiere paints. I’ll also show you the results I got from testing all 18 of these colors with Pardo translucent clay.
Supplies shown in this video:
- Piñata alcohol ink exciter pack
- Jacquard Lumiere paints exciter pack
- Pardo translucent clay (you may get a better price on this at PolyClayPlay.com)
- Mini glue dots

In an upcoming video I will be doing the same sort of testing with translucent clay and Ranger alcohol inks. Considering how many times I have used them over the years and been disappointed in the results this test is also long overdue.
In the meantime enjoy the video and happy creating!
