This bracelet takes a little bit of time to make, but it is oh-so worth it. You can choose to stop at just the center section and still have a wavy shaped bracelet, but adding the beaded borders along the sides is the crowning touch.
Either way be sure to watch the video for my tips on choosing beads that will work best in this project, not all will give you the effect you are looking for.
Tools and Materials:
- 1 mm leather cord
- Button for closure
- Speedy Jig, optional but helpful
- Big eye needles
- Silk thread
- Awl
- Super glue or Super New Glue
- Beads, some of the beads I used:
- 12 mm red rounds with matte finish (mine were 12mm, but 10mm might be better)
- 8mm Czech fire polish, Siam
- 6x8mm Czech glass rondelle, red w/AB finish
- 3 mm Czech fire polish, matte Siam (you’ll need 3 to 4 strands of these to complete two borders)
- 3mm faceted square brass beads
Enjoy the video and happy creating!

One glance at this bracelet and immediately I see myself wearing it at On The Border, reaching for my margarita. Must be the colors. 😀
Ooooo, now there’s a lovely picture: warm, sunny places – margaritas…..
