Beads can be made of so many things: wood, glass, plastic, bone, horn, shell…
So why not make beads out of other beads?
Today I’ll show you a simple method for creating beads out of seed beads. This is a great technique for when you can’t find beads to match others in your stash: just create your own!
Although it looks like it might be complicated and time-consuming, these beads only take a few minutes each to create.
Tools and Materials:
- Seed beads size 11/0 for outer rows
- Seed beads size 8/0 for core
- Big eye needle
- Beading thread
- Superglue
- Bead stringing wire
- Beads, bead caps, clasp and other findings to finish your bracelet
- Nylon jaw pliers or flat nose pliers
- Beading mat
