Opening and closing jump rings isn’t complicated, but if you have a lot to do it can be tedious. The jump ring tool is simple in design and concept, but does take a little practice to use smoothly. As you’ll see from my fumbling in the video, I obviously haven’t practiced with it much. 🙂
I would think this tool would be useful for any project that uses many jump rings, but especially for those of you who do chain maille work.
