Tassels are fun to wear and there are so many different ways to make them! I love the ones made from beads, like in these Crystal Tassel Earrings, but you can also make them out of leather or chain, or any kind of fiber you can think of.
Today’s necklace combines a tassel focal with a beaded asymmetrical chain. I tried to find a link to the chain I used but couldn’t. I did find a few interesting looking chains that would work:
- Blue Moon Beads Large Link Chain
- Vintaj Natural Brass Large Flat Oval Chain
- Vintaj Natural Brass Figaro Chain
Materials & Tools:
- 32 inches turquoise chip beads, such as Turquoise Bead Nuggets
- 12mm Filigree Bead Cap
- Bead Stringing Wire
- crimps
- 3 inch long head pin or piece of wire
- 20 gauge craft wire
- assorted beads & spacers for necklace chain, plus a few to decorate tassel
- clasp
- jump ring
- length of chunky decorative chain
- crimping pliers or One Step Crimper
- Flush Cutter
- round nose pliers or 1-Step Looper
- Chain Nose Pliers
