I’ve been meaning to make a bracelet like this one for quite some time, with all the coils and coiled coil beads. The original plan was to use sterling silver filled wire and give it a Liver of Sulfur patina. However, this bracelet uses a LOT of wire (about 21 feet) and when the time came to make it, I didn’t have enough silver filled. 🙁
If you’d like to learn more about Liver of Sulfur patinas, check out this video: Friday Findings-Liver of Sulfur Patinas.
Although the Beadalon wire says “silver plated,” it’s a coating that won’t tarnish. If you prefer only bright, shiny silver, then this is a plus.
Anyhow, in spite of it not being exactly what I had in mind to make, I think it came out rather sweet.
Enjoy the video and happy creating!

Cool! That looks kind of hi-tech.
Hmmmm, I hadn’t thought of it that way. You could get the look of a circuit board with the right accompanying colors & textures.
Is the coiling tool homemade and if so do you have a tutorial?
Hi Nancy, The coiling tool is called the Coiling Gizmo: https://amzn.to/2PZdzkR. You probably could make one, but it’s not very expensive to buy. 🙂 Happy creating!
