Well, so it’s What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday and you want to see what’s on my desk? (Go here to learn more about WOYWW and travel the desks of the world, it’s fun!)
Last week I showed you my sewing machine table, this week the scene has changed a little. My trusty machine needs some work, but at least I was able to finish machine quilting this wedding quilt before I brought it in to the shop.
Today, THIS is what’s on my workdesk:
Naturally, the black cat who likes to roll in the dirt seems to have quite an affinity for this mostly white quilt.
Here’s the scene a few days ago, while I was in the midst of quilting it:
And today, she seems supremely unconcerned that I will have to give this thing a serious wash before giving it away.
What’s funny, though, is that right beneath her is a a pile of binding strips, all thoroughly pinned together in preparation for sewing.
Miss Molly doesn’t seem to care one bit.
Hope I can find my lint brush when she gets up.
Just like my kitty cat–settles down just exactly where she wants, totally oblivious to the fur she’s leaving behind for me to clean up! Have to love their coziness, though! Happy WOYWW!
I have to wonder if it’s not so much oblivious, but deliberate. I can almost hear an evil chuckle, hehehe.
Hi Sandy. I have a dog who curls up in whatever I am doing leaving creases and fur – quilts, clean washing – never the dirty stuff!
I take it my prezzie has not arrived yet. I have realised that in my haste to send the PIF out I have omitted to put the WOYWW “bit” on there. I had put them safe to dry whilst my friend was here a few weekends ago and then could not find them. I am sure they will turn up and I will send them on to you. Hope you are well and not waiting too long for the pezzie!
Sam aka Hettie
Hi Sam, nope, it hasn’t arrived yet. I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it does!
o dear, they like to sit where they want. I am sure once a pin digs in the cat will soon move, Thank you for sharing your workspace, Happy WOYWW 105, #22 (please do check out my blog candy for charity)
What a lovely thing to have on your workdesk, warm and friendly and cuddly. Just what you want to stimulate the crafting mojo.
