This week my desk shows signs of things actually getting done, (as opposed to stuff merely piling up. )  🙂

If you’re wondering why I’m posting a picture of my workdesk, go here to see the reason and to check out many other desks world wide.  It’s kinda fun to see what others are up to.

Yup, those are zippers I’m cutting up and making into flowers.  Cool, eh?  Tutorial to follow soon!

  1. Happy WOYWW, didn’t have time to join in myself this week, but couldn’t resist a good nosey around anyway. Great creative workspace. Cant wait to see how those zips will become flowers, intrigued!!!

    1. Hi Andria, Hope you’re feeling better from your bump!

I’ll be putting up a tutorial on the zipper flowers soon, they’re fun and really quick & easy.

I LOVE your penguin card, so classy and elegant. They would be great for Valentine’s, too. 🙂

Thanks for visiting, have a great week!

    1. Thanks! I’m always creating something, and it’s usually good, lol.

The baking photos on your blog are making me hungry!

    1. Haha, I know what you mean. I was just looking at my desk this morning, (glad it’s not Wednesday.) I’m making a 4″x6″ card, and that’s how much clear space I’ve got, 4″x6″, lol.

  2. Hi Sandy, love your zip flowers – saw them on something once and wondered how they were made, even looked out some old zips and tried with no success, so I’ll be really interested in your tutorial when it’s done. Thanks, Elizabeth x #79

    1. Naw, no magic, just a little measuring and some hot glue! 🙂

I love your “Believe” card, so simple and elegant. Bummer about the crooked stamp, though.

  3. Gosh your space is calm, considering you’re in the middle of a really good idea project! What I can see of the flowers is great! Good idea gal, look forward to your tutorial.

  4. The flowers look great – is that a calculator I see? I tend to rely on guess work as I’m too lazy to walk across the room and find the calculator!

    1. This is one project where you’ll want to find the calculator. That is, unless you don’t want your flowers to be even. Hey, that might be interesting, too! 🙂
