As I mention in the video, the terms &#8220;full hard,&#8221; &#8220;half hard&#8221; &#8221; and &#8220;dead soft&#8221; baffled me when I first read them, but now they&#8217;re second nature.<\/p>\n<p>Really, all they mean is the relative ability of metal (in our case, usually wire) to be manipulated.
