Today it’s time for my annual tradition of baking plates of goodies for the neighbors.\u00a0 Every year around December 1st I say, “No way, I’m not doing all that baking this year.”\u00a0 But then, once I’ve got the house decorated, the presents all bought or made & wrapped, it just seems like the thing to do.<\/p>\n

Here’s my kitchen table all filled with sweet treats ready to be delivered.\u00a0 I usually just buy pretty paper Christmas plates, cover with lengths of plastic wrap and tie on a ribbon bow.\u00a0 Easy enough!<\/p>\n

Here’s a plate of \u00a0my snickerdoodles.\u00a0 Were they supposed to spread that much?\u00a0 I didn’t think so, but they’re still yummy.<\/p>\n

Here’s a close up of the tags I made.\u00a0 I used the Sizzix Scallop Tag set (red die).<\/p>\n

To got the printing perfectly lined up with each tag I first scanned the die into my computer, then imported the image into Printmaster – Platinum Version 18\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0 I sized the image to be exactly the same as the die, then made text boxes to fit the tags.\u00a0 I drew a box around the outside edge of the die and then deleted the original image.\u00a0 Now I have a perfectly sized template.<\/p>\n

You can fit four of these (with a little overlap) on one 8.5″ x 11″ sheet.\u00a0 Just make sure to carefully cut on the lines on at least two sides, line them up with the edges of your die and cut away.<\/p>\n
