{"id":833,"date":"2010-12-05T21:40:56","date_gmt":"2010-12-06T02:40:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/?p=833"},"modified":"2016-11-22T18:02:58","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T23:02:58","slug":"glittery-winter-trees-christmas-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/2010\/12\/05\/glittery-winter-trees-christmas-card\/","title":{"rendered":"Glittery Winter Trees Christmas Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We received a Christmas card yesterday of bare winter trees.\u00a0 The entire card front was covered with glitter and it reminded me of a sample I made a long time ago after taking a class on embossing paste.\u00a0 I dug it out and made this FINAL Christmas card with it:<\/p>\n<p>(Yes, it is the FINAL Christmas card for this year.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve made up my list, counted my cards and I have <em>enough<\/em>.\u00a0I&#8217;ll do the rest of Tim&#8217;s Tags Techniques in non-Christmas themes after the holidays. Phew!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/cards\/christmas-card-glittery-trees.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none alignnone\" alt=\"christmas card glittery trees\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/cards\/christmas-card-glittery-trees.jpg\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a>It was tough to find a background paper to match the original blue that the trees were on, so Distress Ink to the rescue!\u00a0 The text paper was originally a pale grey, but an application of Faded Jeans and Broken China to both pieces made them blend nicely.\u00a0\u00a0 The addition of a bow and stamped sentiment and this card is DONE.\u00a0 As is my Christmas card list, hooray!<\/p>\n<p>Some time soon (maybe <em>after<\/em> Christmas?)
