There’s something about these glittered snowflakes that I just LOVE, but I’ve had them for over a year and never could seem to find a use for them.\u00a0 When I saw Kristina’s day 15 card<\/a>, I said, “AHA! Sparkly snowflakes, here we go!”\u00a0 (Yes, it made me very happy.\u00a0 Simple things, you know\u00a0 . . . )<\/p>\n

\"christmas<\/a><\/p>\n

This is another extraordinarily easy card that can be made in multiples.\u00a0 The steps for a 4 1\/4″ x 5 1\/2″ card:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Cut patterned paper to 2 1\/2″ x 4 1\/2″<\/li>\n
  2. Adhere with dimensional adhesive.\u00a0 (Being sure to NOT put adhesive where the bow will go.)<\/li>\n
  3. Draw faux stitching around patterned paper.\u00a0 (This is one of Kristina’s<\/a> signature elements.\u00a0 It really does add a nice touch.)<\/li>\n
  4. Stamp sentiment on red paper.\u00a0 Cut into banner shape.\u00a0 Adhere to card.<\/li>\n
  5. Adhere snowflakes.<\/li>\n
  6. Tie on ribbon for bow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here’s a stamping tip for you:\u00a0 You don’t always have to use the entire stamp.\u00a0 The stamp I used for the sentiment has a border which I didn’t want.<\/p>\n

    There are a few ways to get around using the whole image.\u00a0I was embossing, so I used an embossing pen to only color in the sentiment.\u00a0 Alternately, you could stamp the entire thing on the ink pad, then carefully wipe the ink off the areas you don’t want.\u00a0 Also, you can use markers to color in just the areas you want.\u00a0 This makes your stamp collection much more versatile!<\/p>\n
