Happy What\u2019s on Your Workdesk Wednesday<\/a>\u00a0everyone!<\/p>\n

Yes, we are still quite snowed in here, but life goes on. Hopefully though, people will drive a little slower on the slippery stuff!<\/p>\n

Meanwhile on my desk I’ve continued to work through\u00a0Abby Hook\u2019s\u00a0Wire Jewelry Masterclass<\/a>\"\". It’s a really wonderful\u00a0book. If you have the slightest interest in wire work I highly recommend it as she walks you through each step with great attention to detail.<\/p>\n

Today I’m making a necklace chain out of 18 gauge copper wire to go with the bead pendant I just finished.<\/p>\n

\"2015<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s tedious work, indeed. First you cut bunches of 3\/4-inch pieces of wire. Then one end gets looped, then the other end to make the figure “8” links. Each \u00a0little end gets trimmed the tiniest amount so everything is flush and then these are all joined together to make a chain.<\/p>\n

It came out nice, but took so much time I don’t think I’ll be making any more in the near future.<\/p>\n
