Happy\u00a0What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday<\/a>! \u00a0Today’s messy desk is brought to you courtesy of Tim Holtz’s July 2014 tag<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"2014<\/a><\/p>\n

I never did get around to the May or June tags, but Tim\u00a0had an interesting “recipe” for faux sand to add to this month’s project. It involves mixing\u00a0Glossy Accents<\/a>, Pumice Stone Distress Glitter<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0Antique Linen Distress Embossing Powder<\/a>\"\",\u00a0Black Soot Distress Emboss Powder<\/a>\"\"\u00a0and\u00a0UTEE Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The look was very much like beach sand, if a little smooth for my taste, so I added some Mudd Puddles sand on top to give it a bit more texture.<\/p>\n

Here’s the nearly completed tag. I was particularly pleased with how the seashells came out. They were cut out using the\u00a0Seashell # 1 Sizzix Die<\/a>\"\", then\u00a0I coated the\u00a0Grungeboard<\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0with\u00a0Picket Fence Distress Stain<\/span><\/span><\/a> and colored them in with\u00a0Distress Markers<\/span><\/a><\/span>\"\".<\/p>\n

The coral bits are\u00a0actually the\u00a0branches from the Autumn Gatherings Sizzix Sizzlits Die<\/a>\"\". Tricky, eh? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

It’s gonna take a while for all that sandy goop to dry, so I haven’t yet made it into a card, but that’s likely where it will end up.<\/p>\n
