It was a free goodie tucked in with an order from <a title=\"Art Beads\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artbeads.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Art Beads<\/a> and I wasn&#8217;t able to find it in any Swarovski catalog. \u00a0If you know, please let us know!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/sea-breeze-crystal-necklace-still-hanging.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/sea-breeze-crystal-necklace-still-hanging.jpg\" alt=\"sea-breeze-crystal-necklace-still-hanging\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The chain is actual antique brass&#8230; it&#8217;s cuckoo clock chain from my friends who repair clocks.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ioWNdP-Yl-k\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>You can watch the\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Sea Breeze Crystal Necklace Video Tutoria\" href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/ioWNdP-Yl-k\" target=\"_blank\">Sea Breeze Crystal Necklace Video Tutorial<\/a><\/strong> over at YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Happy creating!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>desired length 4-links-per-inch necklace chain with clasp (mine is 30 inches long)<\/li>\n<li>approx. 6-inches 7-link-per-inch chain, separated into links that are 4, 5, 6, 7, &amp; 8 links long<\/li>\n<li>1 package 15-6mm Swarovski crystal bicone beads in color assortment \u201cSea Breeze\u201d<\/li>\n<li>15 daisy spacers for bicones (optional)<\/li>\n<li>18mm x 10mm Swarovski crystal pendant<\/li>\n<li>2 bead caps for pendant (optional)<\/li>\n<li>15 head pins<\/li>\n<li>1 3-inch piece 20 gauge wire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Tools<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>two pair chain nose pliers<\/li>\n<li>round nose pliers<\/li>\n<li>wire cutters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Slide onto a head pin: 6mm Swarovski crystal bicone bead and a daisy spacer.<\/li>\n<li>Use chain nose pliers to grasp wire just at point where it exits daisy spacer. \u00a0Bend wire at 90\u00b0 angle. \u00a0Grasp bend with round nose pliers and wrap wire around pliers as far as possible to start to make a loop.\u00a0 Reposition pliers to finish loop.\u00a0 Slightly twist loop open and insert end link of one of the short pieces of chain. Close loop and hold with chain nose pliers. Use another pair of chain nose to wrap remaining wire around wire below 90\u00b0 bend. Use wire cutters to trim, if necessary. Use chain nose pliers to tuck in end.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat steps 1 &amp; 2 to add a 6mm crystal to one end of each of the smaller pieces of chain.<\/li>\n<li>Find center link of necklace chain. Repeat steps 1 &amp; 2 to add a 6mm crystal to every other link on each side of center link. \u00a0(Five crystals on each side.)<\/li>\n<li>Grasp 3-inch piece of wire near the center with chain nose pliers; make a 90\u00b0 bend.\u00a0Grasp bend with round nose pliers about halfway up the round nose and wrap wire around pliers as far as possible to start to make a larger loop than usual.\u00a0 Reposition pliers to finish loop.\u00a0 Slightly twist loop open and insert other end links of each of the five short pieces of chain. Close loop and hold with chain nose pliers. Use another pair of chain nose to wrap remaining wire around wire below 90\u00b0 bend. Use wire cutters to trim, if necessary.
