Hey, I actually finished December’s Tim tag<\/a> by the midpoint of the month!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tim specified Clearly For Art<\/a>\"\"\u00a0plastic for this project. \u00a0I’ve never used it, but have found that reusing clear plastic packaging works fine. \u00a0You can heat it the way he describes with a\u00a0heat tool<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0and then shape it while it’s warm. Perhaps the Clearly For Art works better, but at least the plastic is free, and it’s recycling. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

He also suggested using Frosted Film<\/a>\"\", but I just sanded my plastic to get a frosted look.<\/p>\n

I did, however, buy the Tattered Poinsettia<\/a>\"\"\u00a0die, as it can be used for many other projects. \u00a0The poinsettia was colored with Blazing Red StazOn<\/a>\"\" and the leaves with \u00a0Olive Green StazOn<\/a>\"\". The branches were cut from the\u00a0Bird Branch<\/a>\u00a0die and colored with\u00a0Coffee Archival Ink<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The background was colored with\u00a0Antique Linen Distress Stain<\/a><\/span><\/span>, then the\u00a0Harlequin Background Stamp<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0was stamped with\u00a0Bundled Sage<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0Distress Ink (I LOVE this soft green for backgrounds.)<\/p>\n

The “Peace on Earth” and the star are from a Michael’s store brand set. \u00a0When all that was done, it just needed something more in the empty space in the top center\/right. \u00a0I thought the angel from the Christmas Silhouettes Clear Stamps<\/a><\/span>\u00a0was perfect here, as it was the angels who announced<\/p>\n

“Glory to God in the highest, and earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:14<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The angel was stamped with Bronze Mica Magic<\/a>\"\". It has a slight shimmer irl. \u00a0The last step was to do a bit of splattering with white paint. \u00a0I may have gone a wee <\/span>bit overboard on that. \ud83d\ude00<\/em><\/p>\n
