Since the months go by so quickly, right after Halloween I decided to get a jump on November’s Tim Holtz Tag of 2012<\/a>. \u00a0Of course, days and weeks being what they are, it’s now November 15th already, the middle of the month, sheesh, dunno how that happens…<\/p>\n

Is it me or do Tim’s tags seem to be getting simpler these past few months? \u00a0Of course, they’re wonderful as always, but I keep feeling like I need to add \u00a0more “stuff,” you know? \u00a0Like some leaf charms or something up by the ribbons? \u00a0Hmmmm….<\/p>\n

Since I don’t have the “Thankful” stamp he used. \u00a0I used Tim’s\u00a0Grunge Alphabet<\/a>\"\"\u00a0stamp and Clear Embossing Ink<\/a>\u00a0to emboss with\u00a0Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder, black<\/a>\u00a0and cut out the individual letters. The edges were inked with\u00a0Vintage Photo<\/a>\u00a0(what else? \u00a0haha) and mounted on\u00a0Foam Adhesive Squares<\/a>\u00a0(pop dots.)<\/p>\n

The wheat was embossed with the\u00a0Hero Arts Silhouette Grass<\/a>\u00a0stamp. \u00a0Interesting technique of Tim’s, to remove embossing powder by ironing over it with newsprint. \u00a0Did you know this is also how to remove spilled candle wax from linens? \u00a0Good thing to know with the holiday season coming up. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Tattered Pine Cone<\/a>\u00a0die is very cool. \u00a0I love how it can do these pine cones or give the look of dried roses<\/a>. \u00a0I’m kinda wishing I’d made them from a lighter color, these seem rather dark and boring. \u00a0Oh, well, they’re too much work to do again.<\/p>\n

Wild Honey<\/a>\u00a0is definitely one of my favorites in the new line of colors (also in\u00a0Wild Honey Distress Stain<\/a>.) \u00a0It just seems to pop and accent whatever colors are around it.<\/p>\n

I may just make this tag into a card for our Thanksgiving hostess. \u00a0All that has to be done is add it to a card and make it say “So ‘Thankful’ For You”. \u00a0If I do, I’ll try to remember to update this post with a pic.<\/p>\n
