{"id":4109,"date":"2012-10-25T21:27:09","date_gmt":"2012-10-26T01:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/?p=4109"},"modified":"2012-10-25T21:27:09","modified_gmt":"2012-10-26T01:27:09","slug":"wire-wrapped-crystal-heart-earrings-video-tutorial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/2012\/10\/25\/wire-wrapped-crystal-heart-earrings-video-tutorial\/","title":{"rendered":"Wire Wrapped Crystal Heart Earrings Video Tutorial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been utterly in love with my <a title=\"crystal heart charm bracelet\" href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/2012\/09\/06\/crystal-heart-charm-bracelet-video-tutorial\/\" target=\"_blank\">crystal heart charm bracele<\/a>t lately and decided to make a matching pair of earrings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/wire-wrapped-crystal-heart-earrings-video-007.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/wire-wrapped-crystal-heart-earrings-video-007.jpg\" alt=\"wire-wrapped-crystal-heart-earrings-video-007\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It took next to no time. \u00a0Seriously, any beads that you like could be wire wrapped to make a super quick and easy pair of earrings.<\/p>\n<p>Thinking about Christmas gifts? \u00a0You could be done before Halloween. \u00a0Ha, wouldn&#8217;t \u00a0that be great?<\/p>\n<p>Happy creating!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DySeBFpkIcU\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>two 7-inch lengths 22-gauge wire<\/li>\n<li>two ear wires<\/li>\n<li>two crystal heart charms<\/li>\n<li>round nose pliers<\/li>\n<li>chain nose pliers<\/li>\n<li>wire cutters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Slide a 7-inch wire through a heart charm leaving 1\/2-inch sticking out one side. \u00a0Bend both wire ends up so they are parallel to each other and perpendicular to hole going through bead. \u00a0Bend both ends in towards each other until they cross. \u00a0Use chain nose pliers to bend both wires so they are parallel to each other again from crossing point on. \u00a0Use wire cutters to trim shorter wire to 1\/8th-inch from bend.<\/li>\n<li>Use chain nose pliers to grasp both wires just at point where shortest was trimmed. \u00a0Bend longer wire at 90\u00b0 angle. \u00a0Grasp bend with round nose pliers and wrap wire around pliers as far as possible to start to make a loop.\u00a0 Reposition pliers to finish loop.\u00a0 Keep round nose pliers in loop and wrap remaining wire several times around wire above crystal heart charm.\u00a0 Trim off excess wire and use chain nose pliers to tuck end in.\u00a0 File wire end smooth if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Open an ear wire and slip on loop of heart charm.
