Tim’s May tag of 2012<\/a> with its sewing room theme was right up my alley. \u00a0In fact, the only supplies I didn’t already own were the little\u00a0Hanger Clips<\/a>\"\". \u00a0Aren’t they the cutest things?<\/p>\n

I happened to make this tag on my 46th birthday, so it seemed appropriate to use that particular section of the\u00a0Ruler Ribbon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Seamless Experience Stamp Set<\/a>\u00a0has a great aged feel\"\", and the zigzag border almost looks like real stitching until you get up close.<\/p>\n

The little tag hanging off the hanger was done by gluing a bit of the\u00a0Crowded Attic Paper Stash<\/a>\u00a0to the back of one of the\u00a0Idea-Ology Fragments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I save the extra bits of pattern tissue from my sewing patterns, they’re perfect for this type of collage. \u00a0After gluing them down to the tag (with wrinkles on purpose) the wrinkles and edges were highlighted with\u00a0Vintage Photo<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Frayed Burlap<\/a>\"\"\u00a0Distress Inks.<\/p>\n

The most fun part of making this tag was Tim’s technique for using the\u00a0Ranger Melt Art Melting Pot<\/a>\"\"\u00a0to melt\u00a0UTEE Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel<\/a>\u00a0and then dipping little flowers into it. \u00a0Faux porcelain, very cool. \u00a0Now it’s got me thinking… what else could one dip into UTEE? \u00a0Hmmmm…<\/p>\n

Usually instead of making Tim’s tags exactly as depicted, I take the techniques and run with my own ideas. \u00a0However, since I pretty much had everything I needed, this was a fun project that worked up quickly.<\/p>\n
