Happy Wednesday! \u00a0Today’s desk shows how very messy<\/del> productive I’ve been lately. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

\"2012-05-02-woyww-polymer-clay-creations\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I’ve been playing around with polymer clay. \u00a0At the moment I don’t have any specific focus, but have been just messing about with whatever comes to mind.<\/p>\n

Lately, white tigers with blue eyes have been on my brain. \u00a0Am I the only 40-something woman who is enchanted by Dhiren from\u00a0Tiger\u2019s Curse<\/a>? \u00a0I’ve heard it described as Indian Jones meets Twilight. \u00a0While I don’t intend to read Twilight, ever<\/em>, I do kinda like Indiana Jones. \u00a0\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Well, anyhow, here is a second attempt. (The 1st is hardly worth showing.)<\/p>\n

He’s not quite what I want, but he is kinda cute. \u00a0I’m going more for noble and handsome, rather than cute, though.<\/p>\n

\"2012-05-02-woyww-polymer-clay-beads\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then there are all these shaped beads. \u00a0I’ve had the\u00a0Tri-Bead Roller<\/a>\"\"\u00a0for several weeks now, but just pulled it out to play with. \u00a0Talk about a fun tool for making perfect polymer clay beads. It’s awesome.<\/p>\n

This particular tool makes three shapes of beads: round, oval and bicone. \u00a0It comes with a little measuring tool so you always use the exact right amount of clay.<\/p>\n

The pendant at the bottom was made using a push mold. \u00a0Many of the pieces have been dusted with either\u00a0Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold<\/a>,\u00a0Perfect Pearls – Pewter<\/a>\u00a0or plain old\u00a0Perfect Pearl<\/a>\u00a0powders.<\/p>\n

I’m especially liking the larger silver bead (near the middle of the photo) covered with extruded snakes of clay. \u00a0Gotta play with that technique some more.<\/p>\n
