I thought they would make wonderful little charms for a bracelet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-004.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-004.jpg\" alt=\"12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-004\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I used a whole bunch of different dies to cut the plastic, and also hand cut some purposely wonky hearts with scraps.<\/p>\n<p>To make your own charms you&#8217;ll need to use a\u00a0<a title=\"Crop-A-Dile\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B001EWPYXG\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=secroforgapeo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B001EWPYXG\" target=\"_blank\">Crop-A-Dile<\/a>\u00a0or other hole punch to make a 1\/4 -inch hole in each piece before shrinking. \u00a0This is so you can hang your charms with jump rings. \u00a0While the plastic is still a bit warm, use a an awl to poke the hole out. \u00a0This is easiest if you poke into something squishy, like an old mousepad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-002.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-002.jpg\" alt=\"12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-002\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was hard to know from the start just which sizes were going to work out well for charms on a bracelet. That&#8217;s fine, because now I have a whole box of pieces that were either too large or too small that will be used on future projects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-001.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-001.jpg\" alt=\"12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-001\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d thought the birdcage and bird from the\u00a0<a title=\"Caged Bird Sizzix die\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B003W0Z7N0\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=secroforgapeo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B003W0Z7N0\" target=\"_blank\">Caged Bird<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=secroforgapeo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B003W0Z7N0\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0die would be cool, but the birdcage was a little too big. \u00a0I did use the bird though, he was just right.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-007.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/crafts\/12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-007.jpg\" alt=\"12-tags-of-christmass-2011-day-11-charm-bracelet-007\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The dress form from the\u00a0<a title=\"Sizzix Alterations Sewing Room Die\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B004RELUDG\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=secroforgapeo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004RELUDG\" target=\"_blank\">Sewing Room Die<\/a>\u00a0was too big, but the thread spool was just perfect.<\/p>\n<p>I also used the\u00a0<a title=\"Tattered Florals Die\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0037CCC4K\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=secroforgapeo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0037CCC4K\" target=\"_blank\">Tattered Florals Die<\/a>, the <a title=\"Tattered Leaves die\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0044JKILO\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=secroforgapeo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0044JKILO\" target=\"_blank\">Tattered Leaves<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=secroforgapeo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B0044JKILO\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0die, as well as some older Sizzis dies.<\/p>\n<p>All the pieces were colored on the back with alcohol inks, some got <a title=\"Snow Cap alcohol ink mixative\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B005FY5H9A\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=secroforgapeo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B005FY5H9A\" target=\"_blank\">Snow Cap mixative<\/a>\u00a0on the back to create contrast.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=secroforgapeo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B005FY5H9A\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was a fun project, and I&#8217;m so happy to have completed a project with techniques from each of Tim&#8217;s 12 Tags.
