I’ve been working my way through Tim Holtz’s 12 Tags of Christmas and just completed a two-page scrapbook layout based on the techniques he showed on day 7.<\/p>\n

Phew, but it would be a lot quicker\u00a0to just make the tag. \u00a0However, then I wouldn’t know what the heck to do with it. \u00a0As it is, I’ve completed yet another scrapbook layout. \u00a0I may yet get caught up in this lifetime!<\/p>\n

I loved the look of Tim’s day 7 tag<\/a>, so elegant.<\/p>\n

All the papers were from K & Company’s\u00a0Glad Tidings Card Making Pad<\/a>\"\"\u00a0(the shaped green piece) and their\u00a0Yuletide Specialty Paper Pad<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

The first step is to swipe\u00a0Antique Linen Distress Stain<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Picket Fence Distress Stain<\/a>\u00a0onto the\u00a0Non-Stick Craft Sheet<\/a>. \u00a0Then mist \u00a0your background paper with water and swirl it through the stains on the craft sheet. \u00a0Keep swirling and dabbing until you’re happy with the look, then dry with a\u00a0heat tool<\/a>. \u00a0The colors will be much lighter and less intense once they dry.<\/p>\n
