Inspired by Tim Holtz&#8217;s Day 5 of the 12 Tags of Christmas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been having a blast working Tim Holtz\u2019s 12 of Christmas techniques (mostly) into scrapbook pages.\u00a0 However, I realized yesterday that I\u2019m going to run out of photos.\u00a0 Not that I\u2019m anywhere near caught up in my scrapbooking!\u00a0 That particular endeavor started in 1998 when my kids were 8 and 10.\u00a0 The albums go from 1998 through to early 2007 when my oldest son graduated from Marine Corps boot camp.\u00a0 (If you click on the &#8220;Scrapbooking&#8221; tab above,\u00a0you can see those layouts.)<\/p>\n<p>Not too long ago I decided I really wanted to do the baby pictures.\u00a0 So I scanned, edited and printed out the best photos from 1988, when my oldest was born.\u00a0 (Sadly, even the best aren\u2019t very good.\u00a0 Wish I knew then what I know now about photography.\u00a0 Not that I know a lot now, lol.)\u00a0 Here\u2019s one of my favorite layouts from the baby pages.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/scrapbooking\/1988-05-08-first-mothers-day-b-sbp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/scrapbooking\/1988-05-08-first-mothers-day-b-sbp.jpg\" alt=\"first-mothers-day scrapbook page right\" width=\"450\" height=\"452\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(Am I the only one who goes into a time warp when looking through those old photos?\u00a0 It feels like waking up from a very long dream when I realize that that baby is now 23 and has a 3 year old of his own.\u00a0 Yikes.) \u00a0As a proud grandma, I have to show you a picture:.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/woyww\/2010-05-15-cadence-1-edited.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/woyww\/2010-05-15-cadence-1-edited.jpg\" alt=\"2010-05-15-cadence\" width=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t she adorable? \u00a0Of course, I would think so. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>So, back to organizing the photos.\u00a0 I hauled out all the photos I have printed and went through them.\u00a0 Besides the rest of 1988 I\u2019ve got:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valentine\u2019s Day 2007<\/li>\n<li>Younger son\u2019s 17<sup>th<\/sup> birthday (February 2007)<\/li>\n<li>September 2007 trip to Maine<\/li>\n<li>A single pic (given to me by someone at the party) of Gary &amp; I, Thanksgiving 2007<\/li>\n<li>Newborn pics of my granddaughter (August 2008)<\/li>\n<li>Random photos with no dates of my granddaughter\u2019s first year-ish<\/li>\n<li>Photos from a 2009 trip to New Mexico<\/li>\n<li>Pics carefully selected and printed for a 2010 year in review scrapbook layout;
