The crown is Grungeboard from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Plain Elements set<\/a>\"\".\u00a0 I didn’t have the gold distress crackle paint, so I painted it with the Brushed Pewter Metallic Distress Crackle Paint <\/a>
\nand then dabbed on the gold alcohol ink mixative (Gold\/Silver Tim Holtz Metallic Mixatives Kit<\/a>).\u00a0 The bear is punched out of fun foam with a paper punch.\u00a0 The title is, once again, printed on a transparency (Computer Grafix Ink Jet Film, Clear<\/a>) with paint brushed on the backside.<\/p>\n

The heart above is more Dreamweaver Embossing Paste, this time\u00a0inked with Dusty Concord Tim Holtz Distress Ink<\/a>.\u00a0 The\u00a0flowers are a sample a saleswoman stitched out for me one day when I was looking at embroidery sewing machines.\u00a0 It was boring, beige thread stitched on beige fabric, but a little distress ink quickly cured it of its “blah-dom.”<\/p>\n

The stamp that I use throughout for the dates is the Clear Stamp – Messy Dates<\/a>\u00a0(Autumn Leaves Rhonna Farrer)\u00a0 I love the look, it goes with just about any style.<\/p>\n

I wanted to use this sheep sticker, but he needed to be grounded, so I first stamped this picket fence by StampCraft.\u00a0\u00a0Using\u00a0a little bit of watercolor pencil (Faber-Castell 24-Color GRIP Watercolor EcoPencil Set<\/a>\u00a0fills in the details and gives it depth.<\/p>\n

More embossing paste on the heart above, but this time I sprinkled it with fine glitter while it was still wet.\u00a0 The tulip corner punch above is with the Fiskars 3-in-1 Corner\/Border Punch, Flowers<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

The key is more from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Plain Elements set<\/a>\"\".\u00a0 Notice that the bulky items, the yellow flowers on the left and the chipboard scroll on the right, are placed so when the pages close they balance each other out.<\/p>\n

Ok, this is one of my favorite pages in the book.\u00a0 Is it the cute little Patriots shirt, those big blue eyes, or that adorable smile?\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The red braid is Sticky Stitches by Remember When.\u00a0 The metal initials and heart are colored with alcohol inks in\u00a0Denim<\/a> and Cranberry<\/a>.<\/p>\n
