to hands and tools<\/li><li>Small spray bottle of water, for keeping clay hydrated<ul><li><em>If you are going to be keeping your clay for any length of time, add 1\/2 teaspoon white vinegar per cup of water to prevent mold developing in your clay&nbsp;<\/em><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Small paint palette with wells for holding olive oil, water, slip and paste&nbsp;<\/li><li>Small airtight storage containers<\/li><li>Small terra-cotta pot (soak in water)<\/li><li>Saucer or plate to put terra-cotta pot on (<em><strong>cannot<\/strong><\/em><em> be unglazed terra-cotta<\/em>)<\/li><li>Or, you can simply wrap your clay in plastic wrap, (But the terra-cotta \u201chumidifier\u201d seems a bit more convenient to me)<\/li><li>Bit of sponge<\/li><li>Deck of playing cards<\/li><li>Sheet of plain torch<\/a><\/li><li>Heat safe surface, such as an old cookie sheet, found at thrift store<\/li><li>Firing surface such as <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3r5eQpO\">charcoal block<\/a> or ceramic fire brick<\/li><li>Bowl of water for quenching<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2YrXPtN\">Cross lock tweezers<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3tblRHu\">Safety glasses<\/a><\/li><li><a
