Knitted Necklace Cord-Jewelry Tutorial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Using fibers, especially silk, in jewelry making has been popular for quite some time.<\/strong> So when the folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.threadnanny.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thread Nanny<\/a> asked me if I would like to try out their silk ribbons I jumped at the chance!<\/p>\n<p><em>My first thought was to do silk ribbon embroidery, but after doing some research I realized there are lots of other things you can do is well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/knitted-silk-necklace-cord-cover.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/knitted-silk-necklace-cord-cover.jpg\" alt=\"knitted silk necklace cord cover\" width=\"451\" height=\"254\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today I am using a really cool tool to knit silk ribbons into cords for necklaces. Adding fibers with texture and weaving in beads makes them that much more unique and beautiful. Of course, you don\u2019t have to stop at creating necklace cords! You can also make them into bracelets, handles, belts and more.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019d like to learn more about the Wonder Knitter and the things you can do with it <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">be sure to watch my video this coming Friday<\/span>. There are a lot more possibilities than you might expect!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Tools and Materials:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Silk ribbon, I received sets of <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2F1BJDe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">4mm ribbons<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2GKEMjt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">7mm ribbons<\/a>.
