Beads &#038; Findings Kits Right To Your Door!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Although it&#8217;s ultimately more satisfying to create your own designs,<\/strong> I&#8217;ve found that putting together a project from a kit can be fun and relaxing.<\/p>\n<p><em>The folks at Facet Jewelry offered to send me the two boxes from their new jewelry box subscription service so I could show them to you and let you know my thoughts.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/ff-facet-jewelry-boxes.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beads-and-jewelry\/ff-facet-jewelry-boxes.JPG\" alt=\"ff facet jewelry boxes\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Each box contains two projects<\/strong> and you can choose boxes that have <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">either stitching or stringing projects<\/span>. They cost $24.95 per box, but go down to as low as $23 if you opt for a longer subscription.<\/p>\n<p><em>I love that shipping to the United States is included in the price!<\/em> If you are outside the U.S. shipping is $9 flat rate per box.<\/p>\n<p>In the video I&#8217;ll show you the (mostly) completed projects, and give my thoughts on the designs,&nbsp; materials and instructions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Pros<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>excellent instructions<\/li>\n<li>a nice instruction booklet that you can use for future projects<\/li>\n<li>a few extras of the bits that you might need more of, like head pins, crimps &amp; crimp covers<\/li>\n<li>good for beginners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Cons<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>not very good quality materials<\/li>\n<li>no stringing in the &#8220;stringing&#8221; box<\/li>\n<li>no choice of colors<\/li>\n<li>projects are quite basic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As I mention in the video, two of the things I put in the &#8220;cons&#8221; category could be good qualities<\/strong>. It might push us out of our comfort zones to not always get to work with our favorite colors.
