As I mentioned in the video I spent a couple hours just doing the few cabochons that I showed on camera today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/polymer-clay-tutorials\/crackle-veneer-cover.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/polymer-clay-tutorials\/crackle-veneer-cover.jpg\" alt=\"crackle veneer cover\" width=\"451\" height=\"254\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>I took a closer look<\/strong> at them all after making the video and <em>decided that I want to do even more experimenting<\/em> and maybe make a few in <strong>a variety of shapes that will go together in a cluster<\/strong> to make a large statement pendant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you don&#8217;t have a stash of polymer clay technique sheets,<\/strong> now is a good time to pick a few that you&#8217;ve been wanting to try! Play and experiment and then put them together to see what combinations you like.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A few possibilities to try would be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/xcwZRa4tUwc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fine crackle technique<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/chryse.us\/abalone.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Faux abalone<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/trTiPTF1Ph0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mokume gane<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Silk screening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/polymer-clay-tutorials\/crackle-veneers-insta.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/keepsakecrafts.net\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/polymer-clay-tutorials\/crackle-veneers-insta.jpg\" alt=\"crackle veneers insta\" width=\"449\" height=\"449\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Of course, there are lots, lots more.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>A quick YouTube search for &#8220;polymer clay surface technique&#8221;<\/strong> will keep you busy for days, if not weeks and months!<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;ve use these <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2vBbhys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sculpey cabochon molds<\/a><\/strong> several times but have yet to use the <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2viPMA8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bezel mold<\/a>.
