Last week the kit to make this set arrived in the mail. I loved the colors and just HAD to keep it. It wasn’t like I needed any more decor, or yet another project . . .<\/p>\n

This worked up so quickly, I think I need to make at least one more set in purples, blues and greens for my winter decor.\u00a0\u00a0 Oh, the possibilities!<\/p>\n

\"beaded<\/a><\/p>\n

The process to make these napkin and candle rings is much simpler than it looks.\u00a0 Here are the basic steps:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Start with fine\u00a0beading wire (somewhere around 30 gauge is good) and string a length of 10-15 mm beads\u00a0that will fit around your\u00a0candle.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Thread the wire ends through several beads and wrap the\u00a0tails to secure. Trim excess.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Now take a fairly long\u00a0length of wire (start with around 36″, you’ll be using it up quick) and wrap one end\u00a0anywhere on the beaded ring to \u00a0start.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Have a variety of shapes and colors of\u00a0 smaller beads ready to go.\u00a0 Leaves, flowers, rounds, bicones, whatever, \u00a0just have several different types.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 String any bead onto the wire leaving 1\/2″ to 1″ of wire slack.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Begin twisting the wire slack to secure bead in place.\u00a0 (Note:\u00a0 If you have beads like leaves or flowers that want to flop over, try inserting the wire through the bead a second time to hold it in place.)<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 Repeat steps 5 and 6 several times with various sizes and shapes of beads to create a bead cluster. (That’s it!\u00a0 String on a bead, twist, repeat.)<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 Start next cluster by wrapping wire between next\u00a0two large beads.\u00a0 (You do NOT need to cut the wire between clusters.)<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 Repeat steps 5-8 working around candle ring.\u00a0 When more wire is needed, repeat step 3.<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0 To end, wrap wire twice between two beads to secure.\u00a0 Trim excess.<\/p>\n
