Elves Bearing Gifts-Polymer Clay Christmas Sculpting Elf Figurine Tutorial Part 2 of 2

Last week I showed you how to get started creating these darling elf sculptures.

I also showed how to make their adorable little gift boxes, with lids that you can open.

For some reason it tickles my fancy to be able to tuck a small gift in there, even if it is only a single Hershey‘s kiss, haha.

You can apply the same techniques I show for these little boxes to make larger boxes of any size and shape you want. You may want to make your clay sheets thicker as the boxes get bigger, and if you want corners that are more square you might consider covering the sides with slabs and then trimming, rather than wrapping the clay around.

I always hope you take what I have shown, apply your own twist, and make a creation that is uniquely your own.

If you are inspired to create then I consider myself successful!
