Bead Subscription Dollar Bead Box Review & Giveaway! Friday Findings

ff dollarbeadbox

This week I have something a little different for Friday Findings, it’s a review of a bead subscription service called Dollar Bead Box. Sounds like fun, getting a box of beads in the mail every month!

I also will show you what comes in their Dollar Bead Bags, which is a subscription for Czech fire polished beads. I have to admit that I liked them so much immediately after recording the video I used two of the strands in a project!

If you use a lot of beads and are interested in trying new and different things, perhaps things you might overlook otherwise, you may want to give them a try.

Dollar Bead Box sent me their May 2017 box to try out and review, and I have arranged with them to give away three more boxes to my YouTube subscribers.

You’ll just need to fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Be sure to give me an email address that you check regularly, and be sure to check it next week, on June 6th. in case you won. 🙂 Winners have 48 hours to get back to me with their mailing address before I draw other names.

Enjoy the video and happy creating!

  8. So I am brand new to beading. Every year, I learn something new and this year, I decided to learn how to make bracelets. Your floral tulip bracelet was the first tutorial I watched on YouTube. I subscribed immediately! You are amazing! And well, I’m still totally lost but have at least figured out a few things thanks to you! Would love to win. Talk about leaving my comfort zone to quote you. Thank you for all you do!

  9. Oops. Matilda again. So. I don’t know what kind I like yet, so I’ll go with the sparkly ones which could be all of them!

  10. Dollar Bead Box looks interesting. I’m new to beading and this looks like a great way to get more familiar with beads and products.

  11. Thank you for this opportunity. I used to get a monthly subscription from a different company but I think I like this one better. I’m moving so maybe once I get settled I’ll start up a subscription!

  12. I love seed beads for beadweaving, but I do use a variety of materials, especially gemstones and Swarovski. I like a mixture of textures, finishes, and colors best.

  13. What a lovely box of beads! So much fun! Whether I win one or not, I’m really excited about The Bead Box! And I’m already designing a Boho Gypsy necklace for any new beads that come along. I love Swarovski crystals and pearls, metal beads and spacers, beads with carved designs, glass beads with lots of colors in them….I love them all, who am I kidding. LOL 😀 Good Luck everyone. Keep beading and have a lovely weekend! Thank you so much! <3

  14. I love Fire polished beads. I’ve got a pretty good collection of them. I wish I had more free time to sit and work with them!

  15. The bead subscription would be exciting! Like you mentioned, getting beads that you wouldn’t typically pick up at the store but then realize how u could incorporate them into a project. I like that! So my favorite beads are definitely Seed Beads, Czech FirePolish & who doesn’t luv the sparkle of Swarovski Crystals! Thx for the opportunity for the Giveaway 🙂

  16. Love “playing” with all shapes, sizes and colors of beads…. Sandy, I look forward to your tutorials. I have picked up many tips & techniques watching you. Thank you for sharing.

  17. Happy Birthday, Sandy! Hope you’re enjoying your beer and chocolate, and whatever other goodies hubby may bring! Regarding favorite beads, how on earth to choose? Though I seldom use them, gemstone beads showing the intricacies of Mother Nature are probably what started me on this path, after collecting mineral specimens for many years. Of course I have a shameless addiction to seed beads, with all those wonderful colors and finishes, and Czech beads, with fire polish and fun shapes of pressed glass, and multiple finishes producing amazing effects. Ultimately, it depends on what strikes me seasonally, lots of blues and greens and AB finishes in sea life shapes this time of year—things that go nicely with a beer or glass of wine at the beach! (PS, Have you tried some of our microbrews and vintages from across the Sound? There’s more to choose from every year!) Thanks for the opportunity, and good luck, everyone!
