I can’t share too many details about what’s on my workdesk today because many of the items are gifts.  Much of the stuff that’s usually on the desk behind my sewing machine is piled on the table here because I needed to clear the decks to machine quilt a gift.

woyww-2013-05-08-a-little-bit-of-everything

The E6000 is for gluing bails onto the back of polymer clay pendants.  (Also gifts.) The acetone is for cleaning up my gloppy mess of E6000. 🙁

The purple case is for readers, which those eyes are starting to need more and more. Boo.

The chocolate is an absolute necessity for any creative endeavors, but of course you knew that!  The tag on top of it is the beginning of the May Tim tag.

I’m looking longingly at Christi Friesen’s latest book, Flourish, which I’m really wanting to take the time to work through.  One of these days!

If you’re wondering why I’ve posted a photo of my workspace, it’s a little thing we call What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Folks from all around the globe take the time to check out what’s on the desks of other creative people.  Head over to Julia’s and join in the fun!

Happy creating. 🙂

  3. I love your busy desk! Thank you for your sweet visit. It is too funny how when we are making those gifts, we can’t be showing them before we give them away! Like you, depending on what I’m doing, I have to clear off one area when I go to the other. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #96

  4. Ah the readers..yep me too – and prescriptions too now..it’s my age, apparently. I had to look for the chocolate, I’m definitely losing my touch!! I don’t think it’s messy and I recognise the knock on effect of one product calling for another…E600 and then a cleaner, and then a paper towel and then and then!!

  5. G’day Sandy
I usually don’t get around for WOYWW till Friday as when Julia posts the link I am at work in the evening here in Oz. My day off isn’t till Friday then but I’m home sick all this week so here I am just one day late(I couldn’t type yesterday due to sore hands and why I am home!!). Yep I’m in the needing reading glasses group too! love your Tim tag taking shape and is that book the polymer clay lady Chrisi friesen? If it is I have loved her polymer clay steam punk animals and hearts for ages and they are still projects I am yet to try myself.
    hugs

    1. Hope your hands are better soon, Annette. Yup, the book is Christi’s. It’s full of great ideas and techniques. I’ve read through it twice but haven’t done anything yet.

      Happy wowyw!

  6. In case you’re interested – the ink storage is from Stamp and Storage. They make specialty items for paper crafters. I’m glad I have more room in mine because I just ordered ink from SSS.

  7. Ah yes, good ole’ nail polish. What would we do without it!! I am very taken with the bracelet in the previous post…I’m going to have to explore that a bit more. I have such a bad track record with jewelry though…I get all the stuff and for some reason – fear? – never really give it a go at making it. But I am a definite bracelet girl, so maybe this time! Thanks for visiting the Fun Room – have a great week…or what’s left of it!

  8. Oooooooo Chocolate!!! LOL! Yes — creatives much have their chocolate nearby at all times! Looks like you are a busy bee with many projects going on. Thanks for sharing!
